The first thing you learn about building a house....


....is that you write lots of checks!

I signed the contract on our new house build today. Exciting, and scary, and somehow grown up all at once.

From what it sounds like, it will take about 5 months to build, and it will take around 6-8 weeks from now to get ready to start building. So.....by the time school starts this fall, we'll be in our brand new house!

    Tranquilla Hall, in Richmond Hill. We got the last lot in the Keller Crossing phase of it.

    It would fit us, wouldn't it? Except that Tequila makes me do things that would probably be against the covenants and might just get us kicked out of the HOA....
