Day 27

Okay, today was a pretty big day. The house now has a roof - shingles and all! It also has passed both electrical and plumbing inspections from the county.

The house got the line for the gas cooktop today. I'm SO EXCITED about having a gas cooktop to cook on, I could pop!

Tomorrow will start drywall! There were stacks of drywall in each room.

Tomorrow morning, I have the pre-drywall inspection, where we walk through the house and make sure all the switches/outlets are where we want them. Kind of a "speak now, or forever hold your peace" type thing before the drywall starts. Al will be attending via Skype - LOVE Skype!!
