Day 28

Today we got to check another big item off the list - we had the pre-drywall meeting. This was just a walk through of the house with the site manager, David, to make sure all the switches and lights were where we wanted. We did move one light over about 12 inches and added some storage that would have gone unused in the space by the bonus room. Other than that, no changes, and we're still on track for an early to mid June closing!

The siding is all done!

I had almost forgotten this little piece on the front would be siding - it was a surprise this afternoon!

All trimmed out and ready for garage doors!

Things sticking out - dryer vent, range hood vent and gas line.

Meredith is in awe of how big the house is, I think.

The other thing going on today is insulation. Nearly the entire upstairs exterior walls were done with batt insulation already.

And a great deal of the roofline was sprayed with foam insulation. The insulation guys will probably finish up tomorrow, brick and drywall will start on Monday!
